Denise C. Herndon Harvey is a Christian author, speaker, and transformation coach with a passion for sharing God’s grace, love, faith, and hope.
She is the author of the children’s book Growing Up Sassafras: Where Is My Daddy?, Emergence of Me: Discovering My Identity and Courage Within, and her newest book, He Restores, as well as an Amazon bestselling contributing author in multi-author devotionals.
Her writing centers on faith, family restoration, and the power of God’s love. Inspired by the hurt and hopelessness she has witnessed within families, Denise uses her voice to encourage healing, identity, and transformation through Christ.
Denise has been married to her husband, a retired Air Force veteran, for over 42 years. Together, they have two adult children and six grandchildren.
Master of Arts in Human Services Counseling, concentration in Family Advocacy and Public Policy — Liberty University.
Dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology, concentrations in Christian Counseling and Crisis Counseling, with a minor in Biblical Studies.
Certified Life Coach, with additional certificates in Grief Coaching and Mental Health Coaching.

Denise has been featured on television, radio, and podcasts, and her work has been showcased on the Disney Times Square digital billboard. She has participated in major literary events including the Tucson Festival of Books, LA Times Book Fair, and international book fairs in Seoul, South Korea, and London — along with the Readers Magnet Festival of Storytellers and the New York Library Association Annual Conference and Trade Show.
